Carlton hospitality
Pocketan Dember is an independent Australian restaurant and physical offline poker venue in Carlton. Join us for restaurant dining, food and drinks, or live poker in one welcoming shared setting. Poker is played in person at real poker tables with dealers, chips, staff and fellow guests.
Send the request that best fits your visit. We review the selected date, group size and session preference before responding with the relevant next step.
Plan your visit
Whether food and drinks lead the occasion, live poker is the plan, or your group would like both, one complete request gives our team the context to guide your visit.
Choose restaurant dining when a meal, food and drinks or a group gathering is central to your plans. Choose a poker-seat request when you are joining a poker night, a Texas Hold’em tournament or another preferred session. If both matter, use the notes to describe the shape of the visit.
Your event date, number of guests, preferred poker session, dining requirements, contact details and accessibility requests help us read the request clearly. A single complete submission is easier to review than fragmented messages, and helps us prepare the right restaurant or card-room context.
Check the contact details before sending. We will respond about the requested restaurant table, poker seat or event participation next step. For poker, relevant session details and venue rules support informed in-person participation. View venue details below.
Restaurant dining
Request a table for a casual meal, a group gathering, or food and drinks before a card-room session. Select an event date and guest count, then share dining requirements, access needs or an optional special occasion note so we can understand the practical details of your visit.
Physical card room
Poker at Pocketan Dember is played offline in our physical card room, with real poker tables, dealers, chips, staff and an in-person community. Beginners and experienced players can ask about live poker, poker nights, Texas Hold’em tournaments or high roller sessions. Include your preferred poker session so we can respond with relevant participation information.
Prepare your request
A few practical details help us understand what kind of in-person card-room visit you are planning and point you towards the right information.
Your preferred poker session and event date help distinguish a poker night, Texas Hold’em tournament, high roller session or a visit where you need advice on the right format. If you are new to live poker, choose “Unsure—please advise”. Review currently listed information on the Tournament Schedule.
Number of guests, dining requirements, accessibility requests and special occasion notes help us plan a welcoming visit across the restaurant and card room. You can share food and drinks plans or request assistance without disclosing unnecessary information. We will use the details to understand your visit, rather than assume a table arrangement.
Venue rules support a welcoming, respectful card-room setting. Relevant session information can cover dealers, poker tables, chips, table formats and buy-in details. Read more about the Card Room and our Terms and Conditions before your visit.

A few direct answers before you choose a restaurant or poker request.
No. Pocketan Dember’s poker experiences are offline and take place in person at the physical Carlton card room. The request form is for an in-person poker seat or event participation, not an online-poker account or remote game. Guests gather around real poker tables with dealers, chips, staff and fellow guests.
Yes. State dining requirements when requesting a poker seat, or include poker plans in restaurant booking notes, so we understand the intended mix of restaurant dining, food and drinks, and card-room participation. We review the submitted details before responding with the relevant next step; a request does not guarantee coordinated availability.
The response may cover the relevant live poker format, poker night or Texas Hold’em tournament context, table format, dealers, chips, buy-in details, tournament schedule information and venue rules. For further background, visit the Tournament Schedule and Card Room pages.
Both request forms include optional accessibility requests and special occasion message fields. Share only what is useful for your visit and include the event date where relevant. If you prefer to discuss your needs directly, use the phone or email links in the venue details section.
Submit a restaurant table request or an offline poker-seat request for the physical Carlton venue, using the form that best matches your planned visit.
